This should take us out to End of October/November time frame so that players, fans and families will not interfere with their X-MAS plans. We do plan to have our WINTER MADNESS 2010 first week of december unless other tournaments are going on. CLASS E-GOLD, CLASS E-SILVER, CLASS D(asian division) and Masters Programs. For CLASS E teams max of 8 teams per bracket. For Class D and Masters teams, Max of 8 teams per division. Same playoff formats. Early bird special will be from Aug 1-Aug 15. The forum has been opened back up, so please keep it clean. I want to thank all the teams that stuck it out with FFABL and the support of our new program UFL for the CLASS F teams which is our development league. So for the vets that are playing on those teams, be the mentors and motivators for the other players. EARLY BIRD is only available to the first 10 teams doesn't matter if its class E, D or Masters. I am working with some sponsors to make this event a fun time and provide some extra activities. In order for this to work, all teams will that are invited need to be present on saturday morning. All divisions will play saturday and semis and championships on sunday. We are working with ABS/CBN to feature the event. We are also working with some vendors to provide food for sale at the gyms as we know it could be a long day for some teams. Some of the activities that we plan on having prior to the start of the games. 3 POINT CONTEST, SKILLS CHALLENGE, COUPLES 21. We will have a guest speaker from American Nursing of College. Again this is a new beginning and need everyones support to make this happen. Funds collected for the events such as the 3 point contest will go to support Bantay Bata. More to follow, working on schedules now. Our situation for not having the double eliminations sooner is due to the gym availability. School is starting back up so we have to wait for them to finish the floors and all schools are doing this. So the soonest I can get the gym is Aug 21/22. The double elimination champions will recieve T-shirts, Team trophy and personalized individual awards. The seed 2-4 will get team trophies. CLASS E will get seed 2-6 team trophies. New incentive for Summer 2010. League/bracket champions will get a team trophy. Double elimination champions will get a team award and free entry into next season along with shirts. 2ND, 3RD and 4th place will get team awards no shirts. Class E teams in the silver that win will be automatically moved up to the gold and last two seeds for gold have the option to move down to CLASS E silver. For Masters last two seeds may add a player turning next age up next year to their roster. Must be verified and approved by the FFABL staff.
